REPACKAGE SOFTWARE EXECUTABLE (SETUP'S) TO FULL FEATURED AND SILENT MSI PACKAGE FOR INSTALLATION

Create a package that can uninstall specific software remotely



In this guide we will be creating a uninstallation package that is able to uninstall the Mozilla Firefox application from your remote computers silently and without any end user interuption.

It is very important before you continue to evaluate this tutorial to make sure you are running
the latest version of the

Before we start we make sure the

Mozilla Firefox

applicaiton is already installed then we take a uninstallation snapshot within the program by clicking on the Create Package button. From the drop down menu we then select Take Snapshot of an Uninstallation Modification > My Snapshot will not require a reboot menu item.

Now select the Software Uninstallation and click Execute button to move to the next step.

Next the control panel applet Program and Features will appear, and here we uninstall the

application from the
computer.

has been uninstalled successfully, then click on the Create Snapshot (AFTER) button to take the second
snapshot and compare it with the first one.

Taking the second snapshot completed. To view the captured results click on the Finalize Snapshot Package Now button.

Finalize your captured package and save it to repository storage

Next give your package a name and a description then click Create Package button to save and repository the captured results into a storage.

Finalizing package dialog will appear, click OK button to start the repository task.
